Homer Simpson is the main protagonist of The Simpsons. He appears in most, if not all, things relating to The Simpsons, from episodes to merchandise.

Homer Simpson was raised on The Simpson farm until they were forced to move out after Homer accidentally scared the cows so badly, that they started producing sour milk. While a child, it seems that Abe Simpson fed Homer beer, but quit after his close friend Barney Gumble suggested stopping after he started a car crash.
